The project Bio Technology platforms is one of the most important initiatives developed in the last years by the Piedmont Region in order to improve the knowledge in Life Sciences field.

Bio Technology platforms consist in R & D projects co-financed by Piedmont Region led by Innovation platforms composed by research institutes and industries operating in synergy.

The Platforms conduct coordinated actions in the research and in the innovation field with mid term objectives.

The scientific areas interested by this initiative are: molecular Imaging; stem cells for therapy and regenerative medicine; Immunodiagnostic and Immunooncology; Product Innovation and diagnostic.

Since 2009 have been developed different projects under the so called Life Sciences Program
